Chai Almond Milk

This is a nice recipe when you want something creamy, sweet, and a little spicy.
You can make freshly ground spices in a coffee grinder.

Ingredients:
1 cup soaked almonds
16 oz. pure water
1 tsp. coriander (freshly ground)
1 TB fresh ginger, peeled
1 tsp. vanilla extract or powder
1/4 tsp. nutmeg (freshly ground)
1 tsp. cardamom (freshly ground)
1/4 tsp clove (freshly ground)
1/4 tsp. black pepper (freshly ground)
1 tsp. cinnamon (freshly ground)
1/4 cup Coconut Palm sugar or raw sweetener of choice
Pinch of Himalayan salt

Soak almonds in a bowl or cup overnight for at least 8 hours. Pour out soaking water, rinse well, and place in blender with the rest of the ingredients except water. Pour 8 oz. of water into the blender and blend on high for 30 seconds. Add remaining 8 oz. of water and blend for another 30 seconds. Strain and enjoy!
